About the chord you played on the "gels" of "angels" , you called it a minor 11. Now, is that the same as just D major over E? I've been trying to figure out what to call that chord for a while...So pretty! Thanks.

nothing new there its called VOICE LEADING. 99.9% Good pianist or guitarista etc that play solo or those that are strictly responsible for the harmony AND lead/melody while playing have no other choice to play voice lead,other wise the song will sound flat....no "tonal volume" (full harmony). This brotha just finds interesting chords (common gospel voicing straight out of the "modern black chuch"...i repeat CHUCH (no mistake in the spelling)..lol He's great!!His method clashes with basic theory
