My dads old 1957 Oldsmobile '98. It's all original. It has sierra gold. It has sea foam green interior. It is a totally unrestored car. It hasnt been ran in a week, so it was a cold start.

  • Hi Branman, I just checked your videos of you dads Olds 57 ninety eight. It's a lovely car i got one by my self here in Sweden with only 55 000 miles on trip meter. Great car with great perfomance and options that the car bayers thinks is new today. Such as Power steering Power brakes 6 pos electrical adjustment on front seat electrical antenna automatic hedalight shifts air ride air condition, my car dont have the air condition and everything is still working after 53 years without any reparing

  • @swedefirebird70 Thanks. He ended up trading it. He has a 1988 chevrolet silverado with a drag racing setup. If he had to drive it everyday he would, he couldnt do that with the olds. Thats nice. He said his dad's olds was the same color as yours and had the same interior. Its a nice car though. Olds was a good car brand, they were very reliable.

  • Pure fancy.

Several works of superior art come together on this buggy, most notably of which are the front bumper and the "welcome-to-the-future" dashboard.

    Hubba hubba.

  • @neatoauctions Yea, these cars had character and had good design for the year it was made.

  • Sweeeeeeeetttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful Olds!

  • @rocketrobby Yes, he ended up trading it for a 1988 chevrolet silverado with a drag racing setup. The chevy is atleast driveable everyday. Its dependable, he traded it to a guy right down the road, so its not far.

  • @365degrees Yes, thanks, and they did have class. My dad knew what he was doing. Theres a new video up of it also, if youd like to watch it.

  • I have to commend you on starting this car...most people lay on the key and end up running the battery dead or burning up the starter. Nice original Olds. Olds has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. But I don't know how people decided on any one car in those days cause they all were classy and filled with character. I am referring to Ford and Chrysler as well. I guess a lot of people were just loyal to a certain make.

  • @branman2012 I did check out your new vid. If I were you, I'd be having a hard time parting with this one! If I had money right now, I'd be on your doorstep. If you don't get your full asking price, I'm going to be really shocked! And, sure enough, when your Olds hasn't been sitting a long time, you're barely turning the key and it's starting. I hope the new owner really appreciates what a great car this is!
