Sprawl is a major environmental problem in U.S. cities. It creates traffic congestion, air pollution and a loss of green space. Even the host city of the Democratic National Convention [August 25-28] is not immune. Denver Colorado, one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, has suffered from poorly planned growth. But now, as VOA's Rosanne Skirble reports, city leaders are taking steps to protect the quality of life that brought so many people to the Rocky Mountain West.

  • @benandemily And has also been rated top airport in the world 2 times and is one of the greenest airports as well. being a reasonable distance away from Denver means noise free communities. Its built of indestructible fibers (not tepees) and has one of the most function-able runway designs in the U.S.A.
