Not here from invisible Man! From Optimum Jazz channel on cable!
-
Actually , I'm here because of Louis Armstrong
-
@jadpapi I had a similar experience. The music in the late 50's didn't appeal to me much as a young kid, and I took to listening to 78's and 33 LP's my parents owned of Satch and fell in love with his brand of New Orleans jazz. The new wave of music in the rock and pop world of the mid 60's later did shift my musical taste in general, but I never lost my love for Louie. I often listen to his music and vocals down till this day.

HAHAHA invisble man yeah .....but i remember in 5th grade liking his music
-
I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me.
-
@HaraldJoe69 Mmm... I´m not.
-
There's a certain soul to his music that there seems to be lacking in today's music.
-
I heard this song in the movie "Mr. Soul Man" for the first time.

This is one of four songs recorded by Armstrong all written by Waller and Razaf; I believe he introduced them all in a show that might have even been on Broadway.
The really famous one that made him a real star was "Ain't Misbehavin'"
The other two are "Sweet Savannah Sue" and "That Rhythm Man."
Found this by reading Invisible Man lol
