I want bleeding edge graphics that make my hardcore gaming PC cry.

Multi platform development of games is a worrying issue to those that want what I do.

It is only now developers are favouring the PC platform and not catering to the lowest performer, recent example, PS3 not getting Skyrim DLC.

I am a hardcore gamer and am always working for the best gaming experience I can get, and will fight for that, here and now.

No the iPad had a ported version of a mobile unreal engine, windows Rt has the full implementation of UE3, something the iPad has still not accomplished. So in reality ios is behind windows on arm because it as yet still only has support for a limited gaming engine. Another limitation of ios is that it can only take advantage of open gl whereas windows is fluent in direct x, you know the middle ware that all AAA games use. Who cares if its late, its still more sophisticated technology

It is smooth to me, but I do see that the scene is really optimized and doesn't seem to include important modern techniques like dynamic shadows/lights or even animated objects.

The reason why laptop battery time is often inaccurate has to do with the fact that computers can't predict how they are going to be used in the future. They are usually extrapolating current usage and battery drainage.
