My tribute to the late Marion King Hubbert, who as early as the 1950s predicted what has now become known as "Peak Oil" - The point in time when global oil production reaches its maximum and then begins to decline. If you study the subject it´s pretty chilling what the consequences of such a scenario could lead to.

  • @dfpacifica We are still around but not as a movement. Meet up with us on 'Facebook site Technocracy Revolution'.

Social movements are bad news these days... driven mostly by the ignorant and dependent on numbers of the ignorant as their backbone for members. Now we are just keeping the information around as an educational group. ... and yes we need help... from volunteers. Your welcome to get involved.

  • @TBonePickensetc

Glad to see someone else interested in Technocracy. M King Hubbert and Howard Scott (regardless of his qualifications) are two of the greatest thinkers this planet has had the privilege of hosting. It's a shame this movement is very much non-existent these days.

  • Yeah its true. Google Technocracy technate to find out what else Hubbert was up to. He and some others came up with a non market non debt based alternative called energy accounting... he is one of the first ecologists also.

Technocracy Study Course .. non political science based social system... he edited it and wrote a big part of it.

  • @moonus111 theres troubles with uranium supply on this planet, and the disposal of it.Depleted Uranium is nasty stuff

  • So if we're going to run out of oil, and there's flack we're going to take for using nuclear resources to replace fossil fuels. Why not let space nuts like me do out space power plan, and land factories on the moon. BTW I'm not the only guy saying this!!
