    That's just the body... I own one, you have to buy the power supply, the monitor, the cards (which are a fortune), the PL lens mount, the I/O, AND... you have to rent the lenses. The Hobbit used Zeiss primes and the Angenieux Optimo (zoom) which is $550/day.

    The 3D wasn't necessary. IMAX with the 5K image of the RED Epic, is really unsharp. Saw this movie first time in IMAX 3D and the picture quality sucked, compared to the 2D version I saw later. 2D is so much sharper and really gives a great clean image. IMAX would have been great if they used real IMAX 70mm camera's. Movie is amazing as expected!
