  • how many times do u do this for each set??

  • @jbeanz531 4 times per corner. You can get an exact diagram and instruction sheet on our website - just google tekhelet and go to the "Hans-On Tying Guide

  • should the white shamash also be a longer string or a regular length?

  • @bjorncharlie69 Yes the white shamash needs to be longer than the other white strings. The sets come with a longer white shamash and a longer blue shamash.

  • Thanks for taking the time to post these videos, they're very good.

Where did you learn all these different methods?

  • Tradition! I learned from people who learned from people. Though I must admit that in some cases a tradition was not extant and so we (at the Ptil Tekhelet Organization) derived from our understanding from texts.

  • Hi, thanks for the video. I want to get Tekhellit, and G-D willing I will. I just wanted to ask if you know somebody in NY (preferable Queens) who can tie it according to the Raavad (like in this video?) I would try doing it, but I don't want to mess it up, and I'm not sure how you did the first knot (the part before the beginning if this video).

  • Tzitzit are so pretty with the blue thread!
