I played one the other day and purchased one from Turnkey :)
Best synth since Voyager and it really pushes the Prophet 5 formula into the modern day. Wicked!

I played them side by side yesterday. They both can produce similar sounds but the Prophet 08 has a really full sound and an amazing filter. I would keep the Nord Lead and save up for the Prophet. If i had to choose between the two I'd take the prophet.
