Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) delivered a copy of the House version of health care "reform" (which my co-blogger Shoebox has termed "PlaceboCare") to the Franklin Public Library as part of a townhall meeting.
In this segment, Ryan notes the malpractice liability "reform" is but a "fig leaf" by limiting the pilot projects to states that do not cap damages, mentions that a study from Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Milwaukee that says that people in their 20s will see a 199% increase, people in their 40s will see a 122% increase, and people in their 50s will see a double-digit increase in their health insurance premiums, and begins to take questions. Of note, the House Republicans plan on introducing a substitute amendment.
The questions in this segment include whether a single-payer plan is in it (not explicitly, but it will lead there), what the timeline is (the current plan is a House vote on 11/7, with a cloture vote in the Senate in the third week of November).
Paul Ryans hypocrisy knows no bounds. He recieved social assistance as a child.

Mr. Ryan, if I open my mouth wider, will you shovel more crap into it? I refuse to believe that he is that misinformed. Therefore he is just making up lies.
