Sulphur is the most beautiful spot in Oklahoma. The sulphur water is very beneficial. I can remember when the springs also had bromide and mineral water. The smell is something you get used to and, when you move away and come back to visit, the smell brings back great memories of growing up in Sulphur, OK!
we go there every summer to little niagara. we always stop at the fountain and there is always some old guy that looks like hes 95 years old there filling up mason jars with the water to take home. some people swear by it.
It's not a drinking fountain. This water gushes up 24/7/365 under natural pressure. The impressive thing is the amount of water. did you know there used to be a public swimming pool nearby fed by this spring?
yeah, i used to live there. it does have a lot of beneficial minerals in it. They tell stories there about how Indians and people from other countries would drink the water because they believed it was the fountain of youth
i love it
