my female and male hamster fight but they are still trying to mate can i trust the dad when they have babies to be around them?

My dad hamster was very nice to all the baby hamsters. However, do not assume that every dad hamster is nice to the babies. Separate them after birth if the dad hamster is less than 1 year old.

Strange. This Daddy was very very nice. The mothers on the other hand, tended to fight with their own kids when the kids are bigger.
