  • Hola Priscilla!!

  • i loooooooooooove that song..

  • no, I mean they have to be the same thing, just different makers, erik´s are made of bamboo and the one i got is wood, but the mechanism is the same, so should sound similar... It's something between a duduk and a clarinet, difficult to tune while blowing but worth the effort.

  • Hammer dulcimer has a haunting sound, but fully chromatic ones are so expensive.

about the new instrument, the chalumeu, is an old french precursor of clarinet, in erik's site he has the analog in the "bamboo clarinet" they're basically the same thing. I like it much more than the xaphoon or pocket sax.

an luck in the recording sessions

  • looks like a nice craftman, I bookmarked his site once becuase I intended to purchase a shakuhachi. Thanks for reminding me the link. I am trying to learn new instruments but I have to go slow on the way to afford them and to learn them. Next thing on the row might be a santoor or a hammered dulcimer i just love the sound. But flutes are special, very close to singing.
