This is a rarely played piece from the Final Fantasy IX piano collections, which I believe deserves much more recognition than it has.

However, it seems that the fans that this piece does have are very passionate about it for the unique story it tells. There is nearly no repetition which I love! It flows from beginning to end almost seamlessly.

This *greater than* Yiruma

  • Fantastic performance, Kyle! Awesome technique, that middle part is tricky! You certainly have improved a lot over the last years!

It's a wonderful and multi-facetted piece, great that you chose to play it.

    Superbly done!

  • @Arkton Thank you Mr. Arkton! It took me a little while to get the middle section to work. Each hand has to be independent enough to play at a fast tempo alone for it to work huh?

  • Love this song.

  • What a beautiful piece of music. Thank you for this excellent performance

  • Please, I can not find these notes (Help!

  • How do you make 360p look so good? This is mind boggling.

    Also, the music's amazing.

  • The best moment 0:55 - 1:12

  • I have never seen a more perfect, flawless attempt at a final fantasy piano piece. At some points I was almost certain I was listening to Distant Worlds.

You have an incredible talent. Have my babies :D

  • The first 5 seconds sounds like Sadame vrom x-Movie :D

  • This piece really seemed like a conclusion of the entire adventure (multiple prominent themes throughout the game together in one).. It's pretty sad because it felt like it was a "goodbye" to FFIX, sort of like the feeling of closing up a book that you loved reading so much that you wish it never ended.
