Each individual needs to find what works best for them and make it thier own.
Personally, I belive that God is the only true reality of life.
Whatever anyone else believes is their own business. I'm not going to sit
around arguing about who's right and who's wrong about what they believe.

@JesusHoldMyHand1 ::: Of course, because he does not believe as you do, or as the Christian majority does. But I believe in his honesty, and in the honest conclusion he came to. I was never impressed with the bible.

@k0smon He is an APOSTATE.

@JesusHoldMyHand1 Bart Ehman was a fundamentalist Christian when he entered bible school, so I do not understand why you say he never believed in Jesus. Getting 'his way' was the fundamentalist way, which he reluctantly gave up as he realized that the bible was not living up to its claims. He did not become agnostic till he studied suffering. Just because the bible says it is 'God breathed' does not mean it is. Lots of nuts walking around claim they are Jesus Christ, but they are not.

@k0smon Mr. Ehman was a Christian for about 15 years. He never believed in Christ, and is now an agnostic. He's like a little child, when he doesn't get his way, he stomps his feet & cries. All scripture is "God Breathed" 2Timothy 3:16 & I will believe God's Word before I believe any thing this man writes. He's just another one who doesn't believe, maybe he thinks he's a god.

@JesusHoldMyHand1 ::: "...shortcomings of the bible - discrepancies, contradictions, faulty claims, impossible statements, and harmful ideologies." Bart D. Ehrman in "Jesus,Interrupted".
It's amazing how we can talk about God to anyone and they will remain somewhat normal in conversation, but as soon as you bring in the name of Jesus they suddenly want to leave or change the subject. There is power in the name of Jesus but His name also denotes judgement to those who yet do not know Him and that is why I believe they quickly want to change the subject.
