@deeter131 Crying ? They sing like this in the wild ! These songs are common in rainforests of Asia.
If they weren't comfortable they wouldn't sing, play or groom each other. You're assuming quite allot from a two minute video in which little of the enclosure is shown.
If you are interested in knowing more about gibbons, Google "The Gibbon Network documentaries". Gibbons dot de are a conservatory group.

Ages ago, wgen I was a kid , I watched a thriller (or just simple a crime story) and they used these gibbon sounds through the whole film. I was frightened for a while...
