community service!!! and what happens when the Mother doesn't bother turning up for community service? What are you going to do then? Because you can't chuck 'em in prison? They'll just laugh in your face and say "can't be bothered with that".

Kids may very well be better off going into care. Also, what's a viable alternative form of punishment.

If the kids go into care with decent foster parents while their Mother is in jail - they can 'outlearn' the bad habits.
There is NO reason why a man should go prison, while a woman shouldn't. These women continually use children as a shield and then ignore the identical situation for a father.

Typical double-standards. Most men in prison are also there with mental health problems.. but screw them, they're *only* men, right? One moment feminist wants equality, then it wants different treatment.

Yeah Sure Any women that get gets out of jailtime is doing so purely because she is a female, as a male i find this discriminatory and shall use human rights act to do the same... i think u can see where this is going, U WANNNA STAY OUTTA JAIL DONT DO THE CRIME! And that goes for males females dogs cats ETC NICK IS CORRECT!
