PS2 Underrated Gem: Beyond Good and Evil

This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the PS2.

Beyond Good and Evil is a little hard to describe. Think a more open world adventure game. It's got a little Zelda mixed with some GTA mixed with some stealth action, and some other things thrown in there for good measure. It's also got a great storyline that'll keep you hooked.

Just in taking footage for this game I've been addicted to it. I've captured hours of footage just playing the game, but alas, I have to cut it down to a mere 10 minutes.

My only complaint is that the camera is at times troublesome, and the stealth elements can at times be frustrating.

@igorbog88 Games like Ico, and Beyond Good and Evil were both well know now because of the attention they have received in the many years after they released, but successful? Not really.

@JustAtyper yip they do but this one is a bit older. Both games are a cult; differing just in popularity, not in veneration from their fans. I consider BGE as one of the best games ever because of its strong story, catchy and realistic gameplay, great music and simple but quality, artistic graphics (I've never seen so well-designed and elaborated world, even once I played wow). Okay and I hada crush on Jade :) Actually, it has its bugs but you realize much later. Clear sign of BRILLIANCE.

I find it hard to believe it was so underrated, man when I first saw it`s game play on NBC when it was released, I was like WOW I MUST HAVE THIS, sadly I never got it, altough I plan to buy it, I found a shop that still sells ps2 games, bought RE4 again and gonna buy Kingdom Hearts, can`t wait!

Was the "boss" i think? battle inspired in anyway by Volvagia in Zelda: Ocarina of Time? kind of reminds me of that battle
