Another Ecto 1 Cruise Through Town

Hey folks, a few more updates for Ecto as we reach the end of summer. The Transmission leak is fixed, I replaced a bad alternator, replaced all his belts under the hood as well as adding the new prop siren to the roof rack. Many more on the way.

@nanrektomred Thanks for the nice words. And yes, I'm on GB fans. (KNI1GHT) I have a topic from several years ago posted there on me building that car in my driveway. And not just the hot rod guys you speak of, but "everyone" digs that silly old ambulance. LoL

@frodo9 Luck? My friend, it's not any easier here in the states let me tell yah. The Ecto I built in the video isn't a 59 miller meteor....it's a 60 Superior.  There were a little more than 400 ever built of the 59 MM model....and probably like yourself, they're either too far gone to invest in....or they're fully restored and cost a fortune. Believe me, I looked too....and they are very hard to come by. :-)

@KN1IGHT Relly. a 1960 Superior? I could not see the diference. How mutch did you spent on the superior and the rest for customation to the ecto 1?

@frodo9 Look at the tail fins. :-) A 59 Cadillac anything always has the bullet tail lights, just like Ecto did in the movie. The 60 that I have has a slightly shorter height to the tail fin, and no bullet tail lights. The over all cost would have to be calculated since most of the items on the roof are home made in my shop. :-)
