  • That guy has rally white hands :p

  • i got this camera the photo is great but the movie quality is bad specially in zooming.

  • It does not have the time lapse mode. Too bad. And it has dropped some manual features. Too bad again. But it still takes great pics and reliably so.

  • I have one and I love it. I would like a viewfinder but I will sacrafice it for the 3" screen. I never used the manual controls on my A720 anyway so no loss for me. Low light it's fine. It's a point and shoot so it does it's best in low light. It takes excellent photos overall. Video is great too. Actually now I'm wondering if it has time lapse mode like my sd 870? Also I was in the woods and set it on foliage and got some excellent greens. The auto rotate is extremely handy.

  • Does anyone try this Canon on video capturing under indoor low lighting? I know an older Canon did a great job, once the video transferred to computer it plays very close to realistic. While I had a Sony and it was terrible - the video was too dark and no way to adjust, can't even view. Appreciate if anyone can address how this Canon does on video capturing under low lighting.

  • Wrong, the A590IS is better, it has more manual control, ability to add filters, and a viewfinder. The A2000IS is what I call a recession cam, not top of the line, but a camera that has had many budget cuts in production to save Canon money.

  • Maybe it's junk for a professional photographer, but it's a great cam for an average user. I miss some features, but I like that cam. The salesman is doing a bad job...

  • This camera is JUNK. Canon stripped all controls from it and its produces laughably noisy pictures indoors and low light. Its a joke. Dont waste your money.

  • Not HD. Can't see lcd in sunlight.

    Canon is not keeping up.

Check out Kodak Z1085-IS and Panasonic Lumix Z5.
