  • I just wish they'd kept Major Kaempffer's death the same as in the book...being strangled to death by the guy who's just hung himself is way scarier than this!

  • I think Molossar meant he is from evil, essentially the same as Major Kampfer

  • Byrne is awesome in this!

  • I've seen most of Scott Glenn's movies in which he played underrated characters, but his character here in The Keep was so dark and I loved it;also u gotta give props to Gabriel Byrne,Ian McKellen and Jurgen Pruchnow for their performances as well!Hey yo,Paramount, when are u gonna put this long forgotten movie out on DVD and Blu-Ray?!It's been so fuckin' long!!!

  • 0:38 thats an amazing shot of Molosar.

  • I really think that Radu Molasar should be the next Weegee - that is, the subject of an Internet meme where he is placed in an image for humourous effect.

  • 4 great actors, Ian,Gabriel,Scott, and Jurgen. WOW I love this film.

  • @cplkeller1 Kaempffer is the SS officer played by Byrne, Woermann is the Wehrmacht officer played by Prochnow.

  • Does anyone else see this as the inspiration for tyrant from Resident Evil...

  • @futurahi I thought that he was supposed to personify the dark evil inside of us all, and that the Nazi's had unleashed a side that all of us have but keep hidden (the keep). Just my interpretation.

  • Most underrated movie of all time, the themes are so powerful.

  • I watched this film the other day, I dont understand it!. Who was that guy with the glowing eyes supposed to be? ––– and is the guy with the red eyes in this scene, supposed to be? ––– In fact can someone explain the whole film, because i didnt really have a clue to what its about?
