Not Your Enemy {Nick Jonas Love Story} Chapter 16 "Should I Lie?" Des. Box

Hey guys!
Sorry I wasn't able to post an update. My b-day was on Tuesday! (9/30/08) I'm finally 15! YAY! LOL! So I was spending the day w/ my friends. So I didn't have time to do anything. Plus, I've been getting a lot of homework lately and there is lie 3 TESTS a week. Which make a difference in your grades so I'm trying not to fail. So if I don't post the chapter when you get the comments, thats means I'm REALLY busy! And some of you were complaining about the comments that were needed to get the next chapter which was annoying. Cause I asked for 40 and now there is 48. So yea. Anyways, Enjoy the story! :)

"Hey, what's your name?" the cute boy asked me.

I smiled. He had a cute Spanish accent!

"Hey. I'm Alyssa. But you can call me Aly. What's yours?" I said politely.
"My name is Alex. How old are you?" he asked.

I loved his accent. It was so sweet.

"I'm 15. How old are you?" I asked with a smile.

"16." he replied smiling.

The rest of the flight, we talked about random stuff. He was so nice, sweet, funny, friendly, and of course, HOT! He gave me his cell phone number and I gave him mine. We got out of the plane and relived that it was over. Eight hours on a plane is gets very boring but with him, time went pass by fast. I felt Nick's eyes all the way. Well, not when his mouth was wide open and his eyes closed. That boy can really sleep in any position. I smiled at him and he looked at me then back to the window. I was worried. Was he mad?
"Nick, are you mad?" I asked him.
"We'll talk about it later. Not now." He said looking out the window.

Joe looked at me, then Sara. And then Kevin also looked at me. Was this a stare fest or something?

"When did you two get married?" Joe said playfully.
"Yesterday. Sorry we forgot to invite you. We just didn't want to." Nick said sarcastically.
"Very funny." Joe said.
"Whatever." Nick said and continued looking out the window.

We arrived at the hotel and guess what, Nick and I had to share a room. When we got there, we got ready for bed cause it was late. The family said their goodnights and went to sleep. I was falling into my dream when suddenly Nick spoke up.

"Do you like me?" Nick asked looking at the ceiling.
"No." I lied. "Why?"
"I just thought that after all you did to me, like kissed me, and touched my face. I just thought that you loved or liked me." he started. "You said you wanted to be next to me. Then just because of some random guy, you leave me for him. I was kinda bumped. If you like him, just tell me. Cause I like you and I really want to be with you. But if you like him, I'll stop. I wont like you. I wont want you, and I'll stop trying to make you like me and want me." he finished.
"I..." I started.

Should I lie? No. For once, Ill tell him the truth.

"Nick, I have to tell you something." I said. "I lied. I lied to you about me not feeling anything in that kiss. I lied when I said I didn't feel anything when you hugged me. I lied when I said I was watching you because you looked funny. But I was telling you the truth when I said I didn't like you." I said.

He looked disappointed.

"Because, I l-" I stopped.

There was a big thump. I quickly got scared so I stopped. Maybe it was a sign that I shouldnt tell him. No. That was definitely Joe falling. That boy has some serious falling skills. I got out the room and opened the door. To my surprise, it wasnt Joe who fell. It was Alex. The boy from the plane. I helped him up.

"What happened?" I asked laughing a little.
"It's not funny! I tripped. I'm gonna get ice from my family. Were in room 223. What are you doing here?" he asked laughing a little.

"I'm here with my family and some friends." I said.
But before I could finish my sentence, Nick stepped out of the room. Alex and I looked at him.

"Alex, this is my best friend. Nick." I said to Alex smiling.
"Nice to meet you." Alex said smiling to Nick.
"You too." Nick said.
