200⑨, The Year Of The Ice Fairy - Freezing On Me [IOSYS]

We were hit by a large amount of snow early this February in 2009 and I was eager to catch some shots with my HD camera to go along with a song which I'd recently got addicted to. The song used is a cut-down version of "FREEZING ON ME" by "IOSYS" (I had to cut it down from 4m40s since I didn't record enough different video to last that long without the finished video ending up uninteresting). It's a remix of Cirno's theme from Touhou Project, and with Cirno being an ice fairy and associated with the number 9, this was too perfect an opportunity for me to miss.

Nice: I made a vid named Colorado Blizzard in 2003 using pics from my son...5 feet of wet heavy snow (like yours) in two days..ppl with rear drive vehicles should put about 200 pounds weight over the drive wheels and then they will do better...of course chains are the best.

Here the snow has melted away so hope that is it for you as well :)

It's pretty much gone now (there's only a small amount of sleet left). I'm not sure how often snow is where you live, but over here it's very rare and no-one was really prepared for it. xD

Nice editing. I've got a few feet of the stuff sitting around, what would be shocking around where I live is for it NOT to snow =)

HD quality on youtube is pretty amazing. It almost feels wrong to watch videos and not have them blurry and grainy.

that is good; let's hope it does not continue...I am in Illinois on the border with Iowa where we are separated by the Mississippi...local pr ppl like to say "joined by the river" which is amusing :)
