While he, rather largely enough, is not Presidential material (yes, sadly enough, even as the President of the U.S.), it is the case that this particular response by him is somewhat appreciable enough in that it is honest. Though, he also, probably, tried implicitly to have "distanced" himself from practically "all other 'typical'" politicians in this response by him, as well, which, if so, is something of a farcical delusion, but only in minor measure, from a minor response to a minor inquiry.

Worst.......president.....ever

@Phil6590 -- Aside from strong disagreement with your inference that he is NOT a terrible POTUS, I must say that this was a refreshing bit of honesty that methinks we all would like to see more of in ALL politicians. Hey, he's the PRESIDENT of the whole United States, for cryin' out loud. The question was pretty silly to address to the President, expecting him to be on top of such a localized domestic issue. No gripe about Obama on this one, in fact, kudos for the straight answer. There's one.

In other news;
have a look what the skies above our nuclear waste storage look like:
"HUGE storms over Europe 28 June 2011 update"
There is something seriously wrong! I live 5 miles from the Areva facility in Petten.
and have been noticing and recording the effects for months now.
After seeing that video you'll realise what they are doing.
If you have simular experiences near reactors or nuclear waste storages -you know what I mean if you do- I would like to hear about that.

well, that's one way to dodge a question. Vote for Ron Paul.

Hmmmm I know a question that will stump the republicans' best bet for 2012: "What do you read?"

Now haqvin said that. Damn, Shut the fuck up.

She should have said USDOE then he might have known
I dunno why everyone is slandering him because he didn't know what she was referring to. He gave an honest answer that he didn't know, rather than a sugar coated lie about what he would do about it once he got in office. As for all of you complaining that he's a terrible president, consider the fact that he has post-secondary education, and that America has done far worse with regards to Presidents in the past. Everyone should stop acting like he's supposed to be omnipotent, and know everything.
