LAWN POLO AT LRF 2011

The Royal Court at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival plays a rousing set of Lawn Polo, a game apparently unique to this faire. Since the "lawn" is rather small, hobby horses must stand in for the polo horses but all other rules of Polo apply. It's a game made for the ladies of the Court, since their voluminous gowns not only block the ball quite efficiently but can quickly hide the ball if necessary!
