I use NKJV mostly but they use the Textus Receptus.

It is estimated that the NKJV makes over 100,000 translation changes, which comes to over eighty changes per page and about three changes per verse! A great number of these changes bring the NKJV in line with the readings of such Alexandrian perversions as the NIV and the RSV. Where changes are not made in the text, subtle footnotes often give credence to the Westcott and Hort Greek Text.

Thank you for the post about the Geneva Bible. If you were to use this Bible, you would also be OK. THe Geneva Bible was translated from the RIGHT manuscript, the Majority Text. This was also called the Pilgrams Bible. Some of the words in the Geneva test are no longer used, it would be your choice to use which one you like. The Geneva Bible is pretty much the same thing as the KJV, just older language from what I understand. Thank you for your comment on the Geneva Bible.

it is not a point of view, but a fact. Just open a bible yourself. How can all the versions all be the "Word of God". The examples that are given here are pretty clear. Sometimes people do not believe what we tell them, that is because only God can open their minds to understand the truth.

I learned today that Gen 6:2, the "Sons of God" they are in fact NOT angels. The "Sons of God" are actually the true Christians. An angel can not be married to another human being. Gen 6:2 I knew about long before, because in the NIV Bible (which I do not recommend" I believe it says John 3:16- NIV "God's one and only Son", this is a contradiction if you raed 6:2 in either Bible. Exactly the reason it is so important to use the true Bible, AV KJV. Adam was also called "Son of God".

NKJV changes the words "ARE SAVED" and replaces it with "BEING SAVED"!!!

King James Version is only uncopywritten Bible in the USA; KJV is the most faithful Bible translation; come 2011 the KING JAMES BIBLE WILL BE 400 YEARS OLD. It was written so common people could know Truth.

KJV is the only way to go! I'm reading also German bible translations but nothing beats KJV.

If english is your mothertongue stick with the good old King James Bible.

Well, thank you very much for a thorough explanation. My only concern is, if the NIV was translated by well intended men who translated the wrong manuscript, then what business does men who have no knowledge of God's word have in translating God's word. Why should anyone translate the Bible without prayer? Secondly, why is it that the NIV was published by known satanists? They were also mindful to offensively translate Jude 9, giving hornor to whom they felt honour was due.Just Mind buggling

Satan wrote the niv and the other new counterfeit "bibles" and if anyone is deceived and thinks niv is word of God they are not saved according to John 8 and John 10.

The KJV is the pure preserved word of God, amen.

Amen Amen Amen:) No arguing over this stuff but I read the NIV and was so confused as to who Jesus actually was.  I thought He was just human, but thank God for the KJV:)

Interesting how people will use these "New" Jehovah Witnesses "Bibles" and INSIST that these are just as accurate and better to understand than the KJV!!!!
