@dmoates420 i paid for every app on my computer. i travel a lot though and lose stuff and break stuff so iloks are just not compatible with my life style/personality. they should offer another option for people who don't want to deal with a dongle. also, there are countless horror stories on the internet about PACE screwing up computers. i'm no pirate.. i just want a different solution. if you like iloks then that's great. they need another option for the rest of us.

You can use it without ilok because it got cracked! On both PC and Mac! WooHoo!

for people that actually record and produce music and not just sit around and trash everything on the internet, iloks are actually usefull. Your probably mad because you can't illegaly download the software.

The Waves IR-1 reverb is what I use and it's awesome. Lexicon must be hurtin' cuz no one is buying their outboard gear anymore! Too little too late Lexicon! bhahahaha

What I did (for this exact reason) is install a USB card that has an INTERNAL USB port (on top of the external ones of course). Plug the iLok in INSIDE your tower. COMPLETELY safe from everything.
On the other hand, if you plan on moving around a lot and taking the iLok with you here and there, another thing you can do is use a USB cable to plug it in so it's not hard connected to the USB port. Just get some 6" USB extender cable and you're set. Nice and flexible.
