@Omfgaxel He isn't cynical, he is just fishing for more views. If you want a real cynical, go for Totalbiscuit.

(Continued) Really, it's a two way street. I don't despise the game in of itself, but the minority of players that actually are, as they say, "CoDtards". If I play any game other than CoD (even AAA titles) in front of my schools "gamers", they will ask me what it is, watch for 2 seconds, dismiss it as stupid and leave without allowing me to defend it. I know that not many people act like this, but this tiny minority is what turns me off and ruins the experience.

I personally feel that the CoD games are decent. I only have 2 issues: the sequels and some of the playerbase. Many before me have made arguements (both coherent and less than so) about the similarities between instalments, so I won't delve deeper. The other issue I have is with a small part of the fanbase, specifically those who worship the game like it is God's gift and claim any other game is stupid without just cause, much like the people you are calling out for hating CoD.

@Cattleclysmic 1: COD: Waw had realy fun coop campaign, plus they do a lot of zombie coop stuff.
2: Hmm, MGO did that too and that was one of my favourite maps... just saying.
3: Hmm, mabye, but adding game mode may not be an easy task for all games.
I dont like the COD multiplayer, and i have not liked it for a long time, but i have had a lot of fun with the series even tho i am getting a bit tired of it.
Just for the record, i play Battlefield 3 and not cod.
-
Ya, I really love the COD single player, while the multiplayer can be looked at either way.

Who would go as far as making a video just to answer people that hate COD with passion? An imbecile like you Jim Sterling.
People actually have rock solid arguments if you actually listen to them and they're %99 right. They deliver games with absolutely no difference.
1-) They only make SP campaign
2-) They use those campaign levels as MP maps
3-) They add 2 new game mode.
If you can still defend them once you realize that, you're greater imbecile and definitely not cut out to be an editor.

My problem with CoD isn't that it's popular. The only beef I have with the series is that I've just never personally had any real fun playing it. Occasionally I'll enjoy a round of CoD4, but really the whole modern warfare style of shooter. I've always enjoyed the multiplayer style of quake and Doom because I feel as if it's a bit more dynamic in the way the battle flows due to map control. It's a decent game that I simply don't find fun.
-
it's incredibly poorly balanced.
to the point it nullifies the idea of "personal choice" you were going on about. if you don't use one of a select few guns, you're at a significant disadvantage.
-
you, sir, need to check more frequently >.>

We think it's shit because it's popular? I don't think so. I think think it's shit because it's shit. Is this fucker eleven?
Its not the COD in general people are angry at its the fact that they haven't changed a damn thing since COD 4, i mean look at assassin's creed they're not the best games and they come out yearly but a least they change things at add new features, which may or may not be good *cough* tower defence *cough*
