What I love about Rosie's songs, particular this one, is her cynicism that a song like "Wedding Day" is anything else but a wedding song. The video, although very nice, doesn't fit to the song.

It's a song of hurt, disappointment & rebellion against a painful experience.

I so wish people would listen more to the lyrics & not be "fooled" easily by the melody & emotionalism, if there is such a word ;)

Oh guys, listen what artists are saying, singing, playing, not what a feeling may portray. :)

The belief that she will be letting everything flow through, over and around her, find a certain contentment which in her younger mind would've been impossible to achieve because of the necessity of a very strong degree of trust. "Wedding Day"= a rejection of the everyday 'values' or 'norms' of a society's current citizens who follow the the status qou solely to maintain their position in an active ' mainstream' gov/world. TBH the song Wedding Day is 500 times more ironic than the song "Ironic"

@bruce9899 I do not completely disagree with your take on this song, but shall offer my opinion on what I believe Rosie is actually saying in this song. For myself, knowing a number of Rosie's songs as well as her not-so-idyllic childhood, I always feel like "Wedding Day", "I Play Music" and "Sell All my Things" are a complete trio which illuminates AND fogs over the yearning for, the having and the loss of a very strong relationship Wedding day is an aknowlegement to the believe that she'll...

@bruce9899 Thanks for the comment. I must agree with you and with Horxata, although I have made this video This was the first video I didn't know at the first, which pictures I should use. I felt too, that it could be better and the pictures doesn't go so much with this wonderful song....but I have posted. Maybe I am gonna make an another version in the future. I would be thankful, if you would give me in private some advice or tips.
