And this was back when Bass meant something other than some generic filler for songs. The way bass was supposed to be unlike the crappy use of it the last 20 years as some computer generated fluff and filler. Now that was bass!

@RikAmmo I think the lyrics to this should be renamed to, i dont give a fuck about you! lol your right about micheal score who knows why him or alot of lead singers are assholes but then again its not the instrument i think anytime youget a bunch of artists especially musicians and if a woman is thrown into mix one or all of them end up sleeping with them and then the band breaks up or the just end up writing songs about the whole ordeal its not too uncommon for lead singers 2 steal the show

They were supposedly a 'synth' band but look beyond that, the bass parts are great and the guitar also, very different from most other bands of the time.

The live version of this is much better. Slightly quicker tempo and energy to it and some round-out lyrics at the end.

Great! One of AFOS' best songs IMHO. Who can resist that amazing synth hook? A true Tour de Force, equal in calibre to "I Ran".

@RikAmmo I know this... and time is supposed to heal all wounds, sometimes it doesn't and thats what happened here. I met Mike here in Columbus and he seemed to take alot of the blame for what happened... just didnt know how to come to grips with it and come right out and say that. Paul was young (16) when they really made it... who can talk sense to someone that young? He is the other AFOS I would like to meet.

Are you serious? Mike was a asshole to his bandmembers and especially his own brother. The guy was a big headed cock and hated that Paul WAS THE SOUND of afos. Mike always bogarted to in front on pictures and bogarted to answer the questions first by media, he was a fucking bully period. Paul was the only true musician.

Mike is a great guy... too bad the original band fell apart. They could have been HUGE. When Paul spun out of control & Mike and Ali couldnt get a long... unfortunately it all came apart at the seams.
