  • Without the two rappers 30,000 people would not have shown up at the concert...And remember, this was 1995, when rap and jazz were partners.....

  • Sorry but for me this fails on all levels. Not all fusion works. I agree with bluetrane64....mediocre + mediocre = awful

  • In a word---Awful! The two rappers(?) are imbeciles. The groove is a circular boring vamp. This is a prime example why rap/jazz fusion--if that is what this is called--never caught on. This should not be titled "Cool Struttin" (Sonny Clark), Sonny Clark is rolling over in his grave, knowing that his name was attached to this mess.

  • There grooving, man! Great mix of two styles, reminds me a lot Buckshot Lefonque

  • If you got rid of the "Cool Struttin'" guys on the mic this would be a much better performance...just my op of course '-)
