He's been reading cards since 4 months old. its a 5 year long program. after 50 to 100 words they stop memorizing and begin reading their own words. and you must keep teaching them to keep things fresh in their mind.

This was just a one take clip of rivers ability to read. He can read over 50 words and he is only 9 months old. He loves it he finds learning fun. I started teaching him when he was 3 months old but you can start at any time. I made this video because I been getting a lot of ridicule with the "your baby can read" program. but as you can see its working. Some babies might have problems or learn differently but it can work don't give up! Either way it will benefit them. after 50 to 100 words your baby stops just memorizing words and starts figuring out how to read words on his own. You don't have to stop at reading you can do math you can teach your baby to distinguish musical notes by ear and you can teach him different languages too. River is learning Spanish at the same time as English after that I am teaching him Chines (Mandarin). so he knows the 3 most spoken languages in the world. perhaps I can teach him the force to? hmmm..

haha yeah just kidding about that one. or is he? haha You can do it!

  • Hi! I would like to know how does it work for your baby learning Spanish and English at the same time? which langage are you speaking at home? I would like to teach spanish to my baby girl first and than English, at shool she will learn french.. Thanks

  • Awesome! I used the Your Baby Can Read system with my now 5 yr old, we started when he was 3 months old. He doesn't read "fluently", but he has been reading since he was about 12 mos old. He'll usually catch us off guard while we're at the store or something and read a random word he sees, so I know he CAN read. The program does work. My son used to pic out words like that too. We have now started the program with our 4 month old.

  • i going to try it how much is it

  • Awesome!! I'm thinking buying the system... My baby is 5 months old... But my first Language is Spanish.. So I have to figure out a plan to do this in English...Thanks for the video
