Bill Handel Show Apologizes for Armenian Genocide "Joke"

The "Bill Handel Show" issued an apology for a hurtful Armenian Genocide "joke" made on air on May 13/14 during the KFI 640 AM broadcast.

Handel and his team will be issuing an on air apology during the June 12th morning broadcast at 6:30am PDT and will be planning future program segments to discussing the Armenian Genocide.

On a different note, "Armenians" is always a good punchline for humor, since they are a quiet, hard-workign people, hard -to-define since from so many different countries. After English and Chinese, Armenian is the MOST WIDELY-SPOKEN LANGUAGE ON EARTH. (It is in every nation, practically).

The Turks not only deny the Armenian Genocide, but blame the victims. Turkey is re-writing history. Turkey fails to apologize.

To be honest, I don't know why anyone would even be hurt by these remarks. I mean times are tough and the more desperate the talk show host gets the more desperate things they'll say. Last time anyone ever hated on me for being Armenian was back in junior high. The most I'll give to this whole situation is a comment on youtube and dats it. If u plan on 'protestin' anythin, u need to find somethin better to do with ur time. Apology accepted, u can carry on ur show with whatever listerners u have

Skokonyan, that was the SAME EXACT response I got from the radio station...not surprised at all...I don't believe for one second that these 2 sincerely apologized. They were FORCED to apologize, but whatever the case is, the bottom line is, they now know to NEVER MESS WITH THE ARMENIANS!

Bills & Laras statements were deliberate, predetermined, and made with malice of forethought. The fact that Bill neither offered an apology nor regret is a clear evidence of this fact. He circuitously restates Lara apology. Do not be fooled by his conniving personality. Even if he had, it would be unacceptable. They both must be fired for the intent of making a satirical statement of the Armenian Genocide and tried for deliberately inciting violence, promoting prejudice and racial hatred.
