Spencer was an extraordinary Golden Retriever who touched many lives. Rescued at the age of 8 1/2, he went on to become a hospital therapy dog specializing in working with stroke and brain trauma patients. Spencer passed away February 17, 2009 after putting up a fight with cancer. He will be remembered fondly by many.

My dogs a golden retriever, called Spencer. wow, weird.

So sorry for your loss. He is gorgeous.They are a special breed. We lost ours to cancer last summer, and are expecting his nephew in a few weeks.
