In a curious way, your make reading of this--I think W.H. Auden's greatest poem--refreshingly ...not about you reading. I wanted to hear it read well, and have to confess that other, deep-voiced SpokenVerse guy or whatever... I like him well enough... he loves great poetry, too. But sounds like his readings are more about his (clearly self-satisfactory) diction and voice, than about Auden (or Yeats, or mad Ireland, or Paul Claudel, or Time)... THIS reading though: spectacular in its humility.
Apology accepted. I believe this man is reading these poems because he is inspired by the poetry. I don't think he is gay, either, so you may have offended him. However, that makes no difference. He is honoring a great poet, not crusing in red light district.
I can't but agree with you! But there are either a lot of books devoted to his privet life and relationship with Chester Kallman. Nevertheless, if my comments offended you I'm sorry.

you need to read just a bit slower, and modulate your tone a bit more.
