"Faces of the Brave" 9-11 Tribute Artwork Project
"Faces of the Brave" (FOTB) is a "Non-Profit" Tribute Artwork Project that has been created to Honor the lives of the fallen New York Emergency Services Personnel lost on 9/11 by putting their faces before the public. No longer will the thought of these brave men and women become a fading memory or mere statistic, there are more than 500 individual portraits of Heroes to remind us of the personal sacrifice made that tragic day.
After more than 4 ½ years of research and communication with the surviving families of the fallen heroes lost on 9/11, Las Vegas artist Randy Soard has now obtained the legal permission of approximately 500 estate administrators of the fallen heroes for the inclusion of their family member's image in the "Faces of the Brave" 9-11 Tribute Artwork.
"Faces of the Brave" is the only known artwork of its type to be legally authorized by the surviving families of the 9-11 Heroes.100% of the profits from the sale and/or auction of the "Faces of the Brave" Artwork will be donated to the Charity, Foundation or Scholarship Funds specified by each of the surviving families of the fallen 9-11 Heroes. Signed copies of the artwork will also be donated to other qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit charities for fundraising purposes.

In his listing of individuals and groups of individuals FF Randy Soard failed to recognize the three retired FDNY members who were working in the "Towers" as 'fire safety directors' and remained at the command post to assist their active brothers during the operations.
I'm sure it's just an oversight, but they didn't abandon their brothers during their hour of tribulations and deserve recognition.

The Fire Safety Directors are shown along with the 343 Fallen Firefighters and the other Volunteer Firefighters who were working their day-jobs in the WTC.
