Here is the full blog post with links to the stats and stories .. as well as a breakdown of the OTHER EVENTS that are not listed by NOAA (they only list the BILLION DOLLAR events): http://sincedutch.wordpress.com/2012/01/28/1282012-2011-was-the-most-severe-y...

THOUSANDS of people died in severe weather events this past year --- TENS OF THOUSANDS lost homes or were effected Directly by these storms... MILLIONS were partially effected.. and TENS of millions KNOW SOMEONE who was set back by these storms.

If you do NOT have a preparation plan --- please develop one. Im asking you to do it... if you already your plans.. make sure youre stocked up on essential survival items.

Have your family and friends up to speed on what to do/where to go when things get to the point of emergency.

As always.. Don't be scared.. be prepared !

  • @Estate911 ...if you go to Kelly Kettle...you can buy a portable kettle that the Irish fishermen use to heat water...use sticks and a flint to start a fire that heats the water like a volcano...double walled and able to pour...I travel with it, just in case I get stuck, and have to use tabs for water and heat it to be able to drink...just a thought! Great company.

  • Who knows what is coming this year ... get a bunker, I have a weeks supply of beans and a generator and some fuel, I think what I need is another planet to live on.

  • Ever think about a P O box? Some want to help, but don't have a cc. Just a thought. It would be interesting to see what people sent to you too.

  • 2012 will be even worse

  • some year has to be the worst. Besidesm continued advances in technology obviously discovers more each year too :)

  • @Platojo1 a couple times. I had a faved video where a scientist was criticizing the large Hadron collider removed. I think the LHC is the scariest of all, more than HAARP. Some think it could turn earth into a black hole.

  • @in2digitalspace ssshhh!! the anti terrorist department might be listening;)

  • MERKABAH ♥

  • Gingrich wants to build a colony on the moon. It's about time! I agree with Stephen Hawking when it comes to space exploration and colonization. It is the only hope for the continuance of the human race. 2011 is the worst year for weather events? I fear we "ain't seen nothin yet". Be safe.

  • Wichita, Ks (population 300,000plus) -sits in the heart of "Tornado Alley" all schools k-12 are completing FEMA rooms/structures as we speak...with federal funding...slated to be complete just in time for tornado season.

  • And when nothing happens, have peace of mind :) Peace

  • @dutchsinse what's the event you mentioned at 1:41? the land collapse in central america? i'd like to look into it, thanks. :)

    and great work as always.

  • Who needs a gun ? Mr. Spock showed me how to do the Vulcan mind meld. Booyah bitches !

  • @kami243n uhm what decision? And my point was, sweetie, that even though being prepared is fine, but "having something for self defense" can be the root to more problems that it solves. If a lot of scared peoples sits around hugging there guns someone is gonna pull the trigger. If I'm gonna be a bit mean I'll say that U.S put to much trust in guns. Guns have yet failed to save anything, beside of the problems they caused in the first place. N.B Dutch never said guns I just speculate.

  • @MsWonderful79 ...we are just on the same page! :) Ducky!

  • @klaanderson3 I should have read your comment before I posted mine. Two thumbs up!

  • @learn54 The good thing with living in cave is when the shit do hit the fan ... well you don't have much to lose.

  • Don't know if this was mentioned before, but having enough water is hard to carry if you have to evacuate. Buy some water purifying tablets for your kit. Camping equipment stores and web sites carry them. They take up little room and can be used easily.

  • forty six below zero this morning

    same old same old

    good walrus whacking weather

  • this year breaking a lot of last year's records wouldn't be a bad bet

  • waiting for a snow storm in the ne, but all we been getting is rain

  • Your the best, Dutch, you reported better weather information than any other source, and most important, the way you do your video I can see right where to put the mouse click, and go there for my own local information. Thanks to you, all your help on the learning curve, now I can do a local weather forecast, than the guy on TV.

  • FEAR GOD! HE'S pISSED Off! Isaiah 13:7-9

  • I like how you put it Dutch... Don't be scared, be prepared.

  • @daniandquin ....I have to agree; starting with Japan, I too started watching your videos, and have been "trying" to educate others and prepare myself. My family in Missouri have been alerted to your St. Louis weather...even though they really don't want to hear. Appreciate all you are doing! I also adjust flights according to your work; it HAARP rings are hitting Houston, for example, I redirect my connection, and it has absolutely helped!
