@Kvergjelme They actually anounced this at fanfaire in 2010. Showed these images and a couple creatures concept arts for it. It was all part of their Everquest Next panel

@EQOAnostalgia Sir you're noob when it comes to knowing what's going on with SoE. They have Developers that have been their for 10+ years stepping down this year.They have already sold license agreements to German Company that made Flash games to take over. The deal will take will take months to iron out the transition, but believe me their are fewer number of players & servers than ever before for all SoE games. EverQuest is was a decent game and is now at its final stage of milking.
