In the upper right corner, a video of one of the Mambo Aces, Anibal Vazquez, appears dancing with his nephew and bandleader Roberto Roena. The voice you hear is that of Mike Vazquez, who danced as one of the Mambo Aces. The clip ends with solo dancing by Anibal Vazquez.

The original Mambo Aces were Anibal Vazquez and Joe Vega, and Anibal went by Andy. So you must have seen them. I didn't know about their routine with mirrors. Sounds fantastic.

Seeing Andy with Roberto Roena is memory jerker for me as I saw one of their last performances together, even up-in-age he was wonderful.

Trivia tidbit, just in case: Anibal & Roena were in fact "Compai's"!!.

Did the Mambo Aces have a dance act in the early 1950's---Did they call themselves Andy and Joe and do a mambo routine with mirrors??I remember seeing 2 guys in Balto,md about 1953 in a club called the Celebrity Lounge---They were great dancers with a great act!
