The Downeaster "Alexa" was originally released in 1989 as a part of the album, "Storm Front".
The song is about a fisherman trying to make his ends meet.
Incidentally, the boat in this song, "Alexa" is named after Billy Joel's daughter. In fact Joel actually owns a boat named "Alexa".
