I'm glad I was introduced to Violence Jack, Mad Bull 34, Devil Man and Fist of The North Star before any other anime. They may not be the best, but dammit, they were a breath of fresh air. Sputnik7 was once a site that had free streaming anime, then the legal notices rolled in and the site canned their anime.
