Safe Kids Canada and CN continue the exciting tradition of the Safe Crossing Program! Since 2005, more than 270,000 elementary school children in Canada have participated and learned about rail safety in the classroom setting! Safe Crossing Week takes place annually, during the first full week of November.

Did you know there are 73,047 kilometres of railway tracks and approximately 55,000 public, private and pedestrian highway/railway crossings in Canada? Talk to your children about rail safety and teach them about staying safe around trains and railway tracks.
