  • In my memory, this is categorised as one of their lesser singles. But I just stumbled on this just now, and it hits the spot. In reality they made very few poor songs, it has to be said.

  • Amazing vocal phrasing

  • @baantalingngam Mundane, Tuesdane, Wednesdane, Thursdane.

  • the castanets in the verses are great, but then comes the lyric... black insects crawl on yellow walls, they seem to move, but they don't move to any place at all ...perfect image of stinking hot perth summers of my youth. from time when massive air conditioners - now produced very cheaply in s.e.asian labour market - weren't all over every house. triffids were quite ambitious from outset in tems of sound & lyrics, but too often local sound producers seemingly weren't up to ideas

  • Anybody know where they filmed this. I have a feeling some of the coastal stuff was filmed on Rottnest or Fremantle. Anyone have more of a clue?

  • The best will appear later

  • obviously yer not a musician.

  • Nice lyrics.

  • I had never heard this song and I was convinced I knew them all(just about)But eh...just goes to show!

Not to keen on it,but the video is worth gold!
