Alondra (Calandria)

(Mimus saturninus). American songbird that imitates the song and shout of the other birds. Its color is ashen and white, and its long and thin tip, adapted to an insectivorous diet. They are very tame, but difficult to domesticate, because they prefer the freedom of the mount where one always sees them cheeping glad. Synonymous: lark (Alondra)
