MVA on Hwy 12 West MedStat Air Called

At 3:53 am MedStat, the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Attala Sheriff Department, Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of an MVA on Hwy 12 West approximately 4 miles from the city limits, near Hurricane Church. Dispatch advised that there were injuries involved. Audio Emergency personnel arrived on scene to find on subject laying in the roadway with a Toyota Corolla on the side of the road with heavy damage and almost completely cut in half. Audio Attala Fire requested an ETA for the Sheriff's Deputies because of a combative subject on the scene. Audio Two patients were transported to Montfort Jones Hospital priority one. MedStat Air was requested and arrived to fly one patient to a Jackson Hospital. Although unconfirmed, alcohol seed to play a part in the accident.
