Bio Hunter (バイオ・ハンター, Baio Hantā?) is a Japanese manga series authored by Fujihiko Hosono. It tells the story about 2 molecular biologists, Koshigaya and Kimada who take on humans with strange viruses that make them less human and more demonic. It was serialized in the manga magazine Comic Burger.

The manga was also adapted into an hour-long single-episode anime OVA, produced by Madhouse Studios and Toei Video, directed by Yūzō Satō and scripted by Yoshiaki Kawajiri. It was distributed across North America and Canada by Urban Vision. The English dub is distributed by MVM Films in the UK and Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand.

  • One of the titles you'd better avoid, unless you get a kick out of it watching it as a minor.

I watched such series, too, but it became damn boring once I was legally allowed to watch them.

    Go watch something intelligent.

  • Who will win in a fight?

    "Bio Hunter" or "Azumi"

  • Have Urban Vision gone out of business?

  • Does anyone know what the song was for the Urban Vision Entertainment preview at the beginning of Ninja Scroll? I know they had several but this one was sort of metal, sounded like they were saying "I'm on fire, take it from me"

  • well it was the anime i was looking for i didn't get to see it from the begining but i thought it was cool as hell but that was years ago i think before my mom met my stepdad that was like 10 years ago holy shit

  • Thanks for calling me names out of rhetorical incompetency.

"Vampire Princess Miyu" and "Please save my Earth" are excellently written shows, totally different genres, and can thus hardly be compared to mindless gorefests like "Biohunter".

  • Wow you're an idiot. This is the kind of anime I thrive off of. Biohunter, Vampire Princess Miyu, Mermaid Forest, Mermaid Scar, Please Save My Earth, etc... circa early 2000's..good shit

  • I am mighty high~~~

I saw this once when I was young, and got a kick out of it as a minor.

  • I AM high and mighty. :-)

  • wow lol you are such a fucking geek haha stop trying to sound all high and mighty

  • There are questions in this world thinking about which is absolutely and completely trivial since they're both fictitious characters.

Oh well... Azumi will win because Ueto Aya's pretty face sells better.
