Belgorod - Белгород

Belgorod is located north of Kharkov and close to the border with Ukraine.
The city is quite drab as can be seen from these photographs however for military fans it has a fantastic museum of the Battle of Kursk. Belgorod was the jumping off point for the southern pincer in the last major German offensive in the east and much can be seen in the museum. I went there three times.
There is also a monument to the Russian dead in the war in Afghanistan which can be seen in these photographs also.
I have a wide range of interests and I think that this is reflected in the films which can be seen here.

alanheath, it wasn't necessary to get up at 6:00 a.m. and go to make photos of empty streets, in addition to gloomy musik, so everyone will think that Belgorod is something like Chernobyl. If you wanted to show the town which you like, why didn't you make normal photos? Tell me where are you from and I'll go there and make SUCH photos you will be very surprised in what a god-forsaken hole you're living

I often get up at six in the morning and film or photograph as can be seen on this channel. In this case all the photos however were taken during the afternoon as would be obvious if the sun were out.

Where I come from is very clearly written on the profile page - go there and take some photos of this god forsaken hole.

I must compliment your excellent English by the way and anyone who uses a dog as an avatar cannot be all bad!!
