R.E.M. - Ardgillan Castle - 19-06-2005

R.E.M. played in Ireland for the third time in 2005 in Ireland, at the lovely (and should be used more often for concerts) Ardgillan Castle. I have great memories of that day!! The perfect weather, the view of the sea behind the stage and not forgetting R.E.M. on top form!! Their set list was what you would expect at a R.E.M. Concert....random!! Which was brilliant!! They played old, new and all in between!!

For me, it was the day before I was finished my Junior Cert and for me, there is no other way to have some fun after a month of stress than at a concert of my favourite band!! Also the support bands (which included The Zutons and Moby) were fantastic!!

This wasn't just the greatest concert that I and 24,999 other people were at...It was one of the greatest days of my life!! Thank you R.E.M.!!
