That's because they are Commandos, they don't wear standard Infantry gear, they wear local clothes and grow beards to blend in to normal society.

@TheRaellz ok.. several nations have had control over the "known world" ok... Britain owned quarter when most of the world was discovered, whereas most probably owned quarter when half was discovered. Most of Britains empire was through India in fact. of all the other empires of that time.. Britain's was the largest.. having colonies all over the world.. commandos? Whatever your country contributed to the French resistance in mainland Europe is tiny compared to your defeats in Norway, retreats from France, Balkans, Crete and N Africa in 1942.
If you total up all the raids and succesful missions executed by british commandos during WW2, they will not even erase the blunder of 1942 Singapore surrender.
