  • We all learn in different ways & this is perhaps most important to recognise & exploit during our childhood. Teachers should NOT rely on standard textbook methods to deploy and "teach" maths instead, make use of a variety of techniques so that we all have a solid foundation which we can build upon during our later years. Maths is largely abstract, for me personally i favour physical descriptions in order to "hook/peg" abstract maths to. If i can visualise in my minds eye, i will understand more.

  • How one understands maths is largely dependent upon how the mathematical material is presented to an individual i.e. how it is acquired. Many have this maths phobia where the teachers are responsible for creating this self imposed limitation on a particular individual at a young age. These instructors/teachers should be named and shamed. To tell a student that he/she is better at one subject rather than another is hindering their ability and willingness to pursue with that particular subject.

  • Bjo15, you're still really fucking retarded. You type like a 5 year old.

  • @7itanium452112 And i do realise that iq is not directly related to intelligence but when i posted that i was seriously retarded

  • @7itanium452112 i did one of those g test and got the highest score too :D

  • @Bjo15 IQ does not directly relate to intelligence, IQ refers to the rate at which you recognize patterns and understand new concepts.

  • OP thinks he can escape from memorizing double/triple/half angle tangent formulas
